New Zealand coach, Ricki Herbert has announced the names of 23 players summoned for the World Cup in South Afica, which plays in Group F, along with Slovakia, Italy and Paraguay.

New Zealand Team:

Defenders: Andy Boyens, Tony Lochhead, Ryan Nelsen, Winston Reid, Ben Sigmund, Tommy Smith, Ivan Vicelich;

Midfielders: Andy Barron, Leo Bert, Tim Brown, Jeremy Christie, Aaron Clapham, Simon Elliott, Michael McGlinchey, David Mulligan;

Strikers: Jeremy Brock, Rory Fallon, Chris Killen, Shane Smeltz, Chris Wood.
